During our journey you will enjoy magnificent views towards Stirling Castle.

This castle represented the heart of the kingdom of Scotland, dominating the countryside form its strategic position on top of a vast volcanic rock above the river Forth, at the meeting point between the Lowlands and the Highlands.  It’s origins are ancient and over the centuries it became a principal royal residence and stronghold, closely associated with the Stuart Dynasty.

 

Visit either Denston or Glengoyne Distillery.  A visit to Scotland is incomplete without learning how malt whisky is made.  It's an art and a science.

 

Doune Castle, which was used as a set for Winterfell in the T.V. series Game of Thrones and as Castle Leoch, the seat of Clan Mackenzie, for the series Outlander. Originally built in the 13th century, Doune Castle suffered much damage in the Wars of Independence. It was later rebuilt in its current form in the 14th century.
